Janie Boschma joined The Spectator staff in the fall of 2006. She returned this fall as the news editor after a semester hiatus while studying at the University of Winchester in the United Kingdom. In the past, she had been the online editor, Money/Health editor and a copy editor.

Boschma is a junior print journalism major with a political science minor and a certificate in web design. She also works part-time as a reporter for the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. Over the past few years, Boschma has worked for several Wisconsin weekly and daily newspapers.
